Self.conference Estimation Slides
Had a great time today at Self.conference talking about software estimation. Thank you to everyone who came to the talk. I’d love to hear feedback here or on Twitter!
A few links:
The book I recommended: Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black Art. I recommend you get it in paper, it’s a good read and a good reference for later.
Conferences I mentioned (had a few people ask) that are all in Columbus, OH:
CloudDevelop* My company - HMB is a consulting services company in Columbus. Our secret to success is our focus on relationships (internal and with clients) and a great culture of learning. And lots of HMB swag :)
Another slide deck I referenced for the ratios. This has some good content.
